QMR - WHO ARE WE ?
We’re bikers, and we want to share our passion for bikes and love of touring with as many of you as possible. We're fun and laid back but with a sense of professionalism that you would expect from skilled riders. We have a huge amount of experience from road and track riding and we want to take you all to the places we love and enjoy and most of all, make sure that you all have huge amounts of fun along the way!
This all started in a casual and relaxed way and that's exactly what we want each and every one of you to experience on our tours - you’re all welcome! We love riding open, fast-flowing and exhilarating roads as well as the technical, tight and twisty back roads. Taking in beautiful scenery and staying in high quality, relaxed accommodation, we’ll make sure we fill each day with everything possible.
As well as me, Gazzadaz, we have 3 of the best riders you could hope for, co-hosting your Tour. We’re all mates and we understand how to make the most of riding in a group. Most importantly, we’ve all been riding since we could walk, and this experience means all you need to do is, book on a Tour and let us take care of the rest. The smiles will last a lifetime.
Don’t miss out, book now and Join the Ride
GARY ‘GAZZADAZ’ DALE
Riding motorbikes is just great fun…and I love having fun! After a long, and enjoyable, career in Financial Services I needed to scratch an itch.
I knew it was always going to involve motorbikes but I never dreamt that Queensferry Moto Routes would become a reality! Riding motorcycles in a group adventure had always appealed to me so, after pulling together a random bunch of riders from a social media post, I decided to bring QMR to life.
Its a simple idea, but I’ve found that these are always the best ideas. Design, build and host fantastic motorbike tours taking in amazing scenery, roads and hospitality all whilst riding your motorbike. Throw in a few little surprises along the way and the rest is easy. All you need to do is book on a Tour, turn up smiling and we’ll take care of the rest. What’s not to like!
Come and join us and ride your passion.

Touring isn’t about racking up miles, it’s about the experience. Breathtaking scenery, flowing roads you fall in love with and time with mates telling stories, smiling and laughing! Oh, and eating!
For me, bikes and touring are the best way to meet like-minded people. If you’re lucky, you don’t just meet riding buddies, you can make friends for life. That’s exactly how Gazzadaz and I met. What started as a bit of interaction on social media and a healthy dose of banter, turned into shared miles on a QMR tour … and then a friendship that was properly cemented somewhere between a great road, ludicrous sarcasm and of course, a bit of food and a bloody good laugh!
Come and get your spirit tank refuelled on a QMR tour!

Growing up in Northern Ireland there was an obvious draw to motorcycles and road racing, a hobby and sport I love. I love riding bikes, be that on road or on the racetrack. My only difficulty, as it’s a nice one to have, is squeezing in Tours and track days around a busy family life!
There is nothing to beat riding on a Tour with like minded people, enjoying the open road, a good laugh and leaving a tour with a new circle of friends.
From an impromptu meet up with Gazzadaz after a post on Twitter, to being involved in hosting tours, that’s never something I could have imagined, but I love it!!
If that sounds like fun to you too, why not join the ride…
photography - its really important
We’re really lucky to have Toby, if he can fit the Tours in with the rest of his life! He’s an amateur photographer, that rides bikes (a few of them like me!) which makes him perfect for QMR and an absolute must for catching the all important moments that make our motorcycling memories special. Most of the photographs on our website and, many many more, are all Toby’s work and so far, MotorCycle News have already used his work in the article they wrote about us last year!
He can’t always make every Tour but, if he can, he will and, as well as being a top snapper, he’s a great lad to have around.

Growing up on a farm gave me the opportunity to thrash motorbikes around from a young age. These days, whether I’m taking a spin around Cadwell Park on a track day or loading up the tourer to do some county/country hopping, two wheels have always been part of my life, as well as being a budding amateur photographer.
It was by chance that a Tweet led me to join my first epic adventure with Queensferry Moto Routes, combining both my passions - biking in the most stunning countryside with like-minded people, and taking great pictures.
I couldn’t be happier being a part of the QMR experience.
