CHARITY

We believe strongly in supporting both Air Ambulance Scotland and Blood Bikes Scotland. Both are voluntary and are in constant need of support and donations to help them continue to deliver the vital services to our NHS and the individuals they ultimately support and care for. We are only too aware of how vital both of these services may be to ourselves or fellow bikers should we end up in an accident far from home or in need of immediate care. We will be donating money from every purchase made from our merchandise shop and then sending monthly donations to each of these organisations. AIR AMBULANCE

SCAA currently operates two helicopters, both EC135-T2is, and two rapid response vehicles - taking life-saving pre-hospital care to the scene of time-critical emergencies. SCAA then transports patients to hospitals all over Scotland to receive the most appropriate medical care.

BLOOD BIKES

Using 18 specially adapted Hi-Viz motorbikes and cars, our dedicated team of volunteers, deliver blood, clinical test samples, medical equipment, baby milk etc. to/from hospitals, care homes and patients’ homes. Our service is simple. Where the NHS would make use of an expensive taxi or courier, we offer this service free of charge as a way of ‘giving something back’. Blood Bikes Scotland support teams in both primary and secondary care including GPs, District Nurses, Care Homes, Hospices and Community Hospitals as well as Secondary Care Hospitals.
