The tour

What makes this Tour special?
Four unforgettable days. Legendary roads. Boutique biker-friendly stays. This is big-scenery riding at its absolute best. This isn’t just a 4 day trip, pulled together to suit a group ride, this Tour is a properly crafted riding experience. Oh, and we’ll be joined by our very own sponsored Road Racer, Arran Hands. We have supported Arran for a few years now, as he continues his journey and lifetime’s dream to race the famous TT course. This year will see him race once again in The Southern 100 and for the first time, the famous Manx GP. He’s promised to behave of course as he joins our Tour around his home beloved Wales.

Day 1: Into The Peaks

We roll out from the Premier Inn, Manchester Tameside (Hyde) and head straight for the sweeping curves and elevation changes of the Peak District. Our first day is all about wide open, fast-flowing A-roads, mixed with technical sections that wake you up and settle you into Tour rhythm. Expect rolling moorland, limestone valleys and those classic Peak District ridge-top stretches where you can see for miles. It’s the perfect opener: engaging without being exhausting, scenic without being tourist-heavy. We finish the day at The Wheatsheaf Hotel in Sandbach — a premium country Hotel. with great food, secure parking and proper comfort. The perfect place to relax, refuel and talk about the best corners of the day.

Day 2: Mountain Road & Snowdonia

We turn the drama up just a touch for our second day in the saddle. Following a breakfast feed, we head west into the heart of North Wales, where the roads tighten, climb and twist through some of the most spectacular scenery in the UK.

Expect:
• Long, flowing mountain passes
• Technical switchbacks
• Open valley runs
• Classic Welsh A-roads that feel built for motorcycles

This is a rider’s day — rhythmic, technical and incredibly rewarding. Snowdonia delivers big views, big riding and proper grin-inside-the-helmet moments. We finish inside the historic walls of Caernarfon at the Celtic Royal Hotel & Spa — full of character, atmosphere and rider-friendly hospitality

Day 3: West Wales Coastal Sweep

We leave the mountains behind and carve south through flowing Welsh countryside before the landscape opens up to reveal the coastline. This day is about rhythm and reward:

• Open sweepers
• Coastal viewpoints
• Rolling countryside sections
• Ocean air and big horizon views

The final run toward Cardigan is something special — fast, flowing and scenic without being congested before ending our day at one of our favourite places in Wales to spend a late afternoon with a beer in hand, chatting over an amazing day’s riding - The Cliff Hotel & Spa. With it’s fabulous terrace, overlooking the spectacular views around Cardigan Bay, it’s the perfect finish to another epic trip around some of the finest roads North Wales has to offer.

Day 4: The Grand Welsh Finale

The final day is about savouring every last mile of what makes Wales such a motorcycling paradise. We leave the coast behind and arc north-east through rolling countryside, sweeping A-roads and those perfectly cambered Welsh B-road sections that feel like they were designed with bikes in mind. This is a flowing, confidence-building day — less intense than the mountain drama, but just as rewarding.

Expect:
• Long, open sweepers across big-sky landscapes
• Smooth elevation changes through rural heartland
• Hidden valley sections with zero rush and zero noise
• Classic Welsh road surfaces that let the bike breathe

There’s a beautiful sense of journey on this leg. The scenery softens, the roads open, and the rhythm becomes effortless. It’s the kind of riding that reminds you why touring is so addictive — space, flow, and time to properly enjoy the machine beneath you. As we climb back toward the North West, the group energy shifts from “what’s next?” to “when are we doing this again?”

We roll into Whitchurch having completed four days of outstanding riding — mountains, coast, valleys and open sweepers — finishing exactly as a signature QMR tour should: On a High!
